If you want to use nsSNP information from different sources not necessarily deposited in VCF (Variant Call Format) files, you can create a simple tab-separated input file.

The file name should contain “_BALLformat.txt” at the end.

Example for a tab-separated (BALLformat) input format file:
BALLformat SMYD2

To maintain flexibility, we also provide the possibility to state a preferred PDB identifier within both input formats. If so, the first line in your tab-separated input file has to contain the code word PDB: with the selected PDB identifier, for example:

BALLformat PDB
